MENU AND FOOD: Pho Ga Nha cooks up a selection of noodle soups and rice plates. SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE: Service is quick and efficient. Their indoor decor is plain and simple. They have indoor seating only. PARKING: Located in a small plaza, parking can be difficult and parking spots are tight. IMPRESSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: We've had their shredded chicken pho with fresh noodles, their famous seasoned half chicken with red rice, sunny side up egg and house salad, and their half crispy chicken with dry egg noodle, greens and a side of soup. Their half chicken with red rice was amazing and delicious as everything paired very well together. Their chicken pho was pretty good too, while their dry egg noodle dish was a bit subpar. We also had their lemonade soda, which came with the entire can of soda water. This is our new favorite place and we'll definitely be back!

You have to try this spot. Best phở gà in the business. They have a variety of gà dishes and they are all excellent. I especially like the gỏi gà. The sugar cane juice is also one of the best. The spot gets crowded and usually has a wait time during peak hours and especially on the weekends. There is space for larger parties but overall it's not super big. Nonetheless, this is highly recommended!

This is mine and my family's go to restaurant when we're craving com ga or pho ga. They have such generous portions and they make some of the best chicken broth and ginger nuoc mam. My parents ordered the pho ga but I ordered the com ga roti. My chicken was super crispy and flavorful. Really love this spot and I'll definitely continue to go back

Really quick service, which is surprising given how hearty and warm the dishes are. Pho Ga Na was featured in the SF Chronicle for its chalk chicken and rice dish, and for good reason. The chicken is crispy, flavorful, and moist. The chicken rice is equally flavorful and absolutely delicious. The crunchy contrast of the fresh veggies with the rice and warm chicken was a great combination. I'd recommend trying all the sauces. My favorite was the ginger (yellow colored in the picture) sauce, with the soy based sauce coming as a close second. The chicken isn't heavily seasoned, so the sauces really add a great different aspect to the flavor. The wait was quite long on a Sunday during lunch, so I'd recommend coming early to put your name down. Service was really friendly. The parking lot was a bit cramped so we ended up parking next door.

How I've never been here til recently is really beyond me. Their parking sucks so if you wanna come on a weekend, be prepared to camp or park elsewhere. We came on a Saturday morning and waited about 45 min for a table. Pho ga nha specializes in all things chicken. Their mien ga is really tasty along with their goi ga. Their most popular dish is probably the mi kho ga chien, when you add the sauce on it, chefs kiss! Love pho ga nha.

Stopped by Pho Ga Nha on a Sunday afternoon and there was a bit of a wait. The restaurant is quite spacious and had many tables to accommodate guests. After we got seated, and our orders were taken, our food had arrived within a few moments of waiting. Their best known for their "Com Ga Roti" which was featured on the San Francisco Chronicle! Their chicken broth is simple yet perfect to sip on. Perfectly clear and light in color which is staple for chicken phở! Not feeling a hot soup during this summer heat? Opt for their Chicken Rice Plate! Make sure you ask for their sticky rice! The sauce has the right amount of ginger to fish sauce ratio. Key Tip: ask for fresh noodles for their Chicken Phở!

Parking lot is busy/small so be prepared to circle around a bit! Came here for the first time with some friends and we were seated right away. We got the com ga roti and it was really flavorful but had to take some time to break apart the chicken. Definitely big portions!

Came by for an early dinner (around 17:00) with my friend since we were walking around viet town. It was pretty empty at the time with plenty of seats. We decided on this place because I was told that it was known their chicken. In addition, I tend to lean toward having chicken or pork when I eat out because I can't really eat beef. We both chose the chicken and rice dish (Com Ga Ro Ti) because it was noted in the menu that it was mentioned in SF chronicle. So, I figured that I can't go wrong with this choice. Well, I guess at the time I didn't think of it as being mentioned in a negative light. But luckly, it turned out to be really good for both the presentation and the taste! The chicken meat is a bit on the lean side so there wasn't too much meat and it was pretty bony. Therefore, it was pretty easy for one person to finish. There is also some sweet sauce added to the chicken and rice. So if you aren't into eating food that is sweet, then maybe this dish isn't for you. However, I didn't mind the sweetness since I do like sweet/savory food. :) To save on some calories, I only ate half the rice. Even though I could have finished it all! If I was in the area, I might try this place again. But I would probably try the chicken pho next to see how that looks.
